I really enjoy the annual garage sale. It is definitely not about the money, but it is just a great way to clean out the closets and cupboards. Besides, it is a way to reconnect with friends and neighbors as well as to meet and greet newcomers. A big thanks to Lynn Robinson for organizing this event!
We are also really looking forward to the sale - thank you Lynn for doing the legwork and organizing!
We have so much stuff to sell, we could use the services of an assistant (for pay). If you know anyone who would like to help, please get in touch at ellen@cuddy.ca.
I love this annual garage sale. You get to meet and laugh with the neighbours in the triangle and sell your goods! At the 2010 sale, a "customer" asked if I would swap the long vase he bought down the street for a terra cotta planter I was selling. I thought it was an excellent trade. I have made so much use out of this vase in the summer and over the winter holidays. I hope he has enjoyed the planter as much as I love the vase. I am so happy, as well, to see the Salvation Army will take our unsold items again this year. I look forward to Saturday, June 4th, 2011! Lynn thanks for organizing this fantastic event!
