The big garage sale weekend is just around the corner, and there’s so much to look forward to.
Garage sales are more than just a way to declutter and make a few bucks (though, let’s be honest, that part’s pretty great). They're a celebration of community, sustainability, and in many cases, generosity.
This year, some amazing participants are donating their proceeds to worthy causes like:

💚 Ontario Veterinary College Pet Trust
💙 St. Vincent de Paul
💜 The Royal Canadian Legion
Also, don’t forget: The Salvation Army will have a donation truck at 65 Pepler Ave from 1–4 PM on Saturday. You can drop off your unsold goods—just not the following:
🚫 Furniture
🚫 Used carpets
🚫 Hazardous stuff (like paint or propane tanks)
🚫 Infant gear (car seats, cribs, strollers)
🚫 Tires or auto parts
Shopping here = decluttering, donating, supporting local causes and scoring great finds. Total win-win-win!
