Experienced garage sale shoppers know that a little strategy can go a long way. Whether you're looking for specific items or just love the thrill of the hunt, a few simple tips can help you get the most out of the day.

• Come early for the best selection (but not before 8AM, please!) 😄
• As this is a residential area, parking and driving are limited. Plan to park on the perimeter and walk the streets. 
• Possible parking options include:
• East York Community Centre (Pape south of O’Connor)
• Donlands & O’Connor commercial area
• Better yet: take the TTC! Several bus routes come by Pape & O'Connor, the centre of the Golden Triangle.
• Dress for the weather: good walking shoes, a hat, sunscreen, light layers, and bring water
• Come prepared with reusable shopping bags, small bills & change
• And if you like a real bargain, come later in the day after vendors have slashed prices!
